The Greenway Smart Agro Nursery is a flagship initiative of the Greenway Renewable Energy Implementation Organization (GREIO), dedicated to promoting climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy integration, and sustainable livelihoods.

Located in Villeg: Choto Bimalpur, Post Office: Razarampur, Upazila: Fulbari, Dis: Dinajpur, the nursery serves as a model center for modern agriculture, sapling production, and community training.

It is designed to empower farmers, women, youth, and marginalized communities including indigenous and tribal populations to adopt eco-friendly, productive, and resilient farming practices. By combining technology, organic farming, and renewable energy solutions, the nursery strengthens rural livelihoods and ensures environmental sustainability.

Purpose & Vision

The nursery aims to:

  • Supply high-quality saplings for fruits, vegetables, and timber.
  • Promote organic and bio-fertilizer-based farming using biogas byproducts.
  • Build capacity for climate-smart, technology-driven agriculture.
  • Encourage women and youth entrepreneurship in eco-businesses.

Vision: A Bangladesh where rural communities thrive through smart agriculture, renewable energy, and climate resilience, ensuring food security, economic prosperity, and environmental balance for all, including ethnic minorities and marginalized groups.

Training & Capacity Development

The nursery provides practical training programs, field demonstrations, and workshops covering:

  • Smart agriculture techniques and renewable energy integration.
  • Bio-fertilizer production and organic farming.
  • Crop planning based on soil and weather data.
  • Digital literacy and online agricultural marketing.
  • Sustainable livestock and agroforestry practices.

These programs are aimed at farmers, youth, women, and marginalized communities, enabling them to lead green, climate-resilient, and profitable agricultural practices.

  2. Produce and supply 1 million high-quality saplings annually.
  3. Establish 50 community-based smart agro nurseries.
